Scope

These products have been used typically for electrodeposited nickel plating on steel, copper and copper alloys, and zinc and zinc alloys, but usage is not limited to such applications.

Claudia's Notes:
AMS QQ-N-290 was cancelled back in 2007, but was reinstated in 2009 to cover previously qualified products.  However, SAE recommends that you use either AMS-2403 or AMS-2423 for new design.  FYI:  The document replaced the popular QQ-N-290.
